IT IS FREEZING OUT THERE!
Yesterday was a busy day. Made beds, did dishes, etc. Had a lite lunch and headed for the library in Roscommon where we were having the 2nd of 3 classes in genealogy. It was a good class and I found a few more things to add to my info. I got home about 4 and I was at my friend Marilyn's about 6 for a get together with sewing friends. We didn't sew, but we had a good visit with one of our friends that hadn't been able to join us in awhile as she has been fighting cancer. That chemo is nasty and makes you sick and weak. It was so good to see her.
While this friend was at home taking care of herself, she was busy thinking of us! To keep herself busy she made us all a pair of hand warmers. They are so nice. I can see me using mine when I sit for hours at the computer and my hands turn cold. Or when I'm outside taking pictures in the cool air! Thanks so much my friend.
I have finished my project for the Hugs and Kisses blog hop in February, but I can't show it to you until then. I am almost done with the purse I'm making, just have to put s closer on it. And almost done with the 3rd embroidered Sun Bonnet Sue Block. So, no big projects, but I'm working on things, which keeps me busy and happy.
Awwwww, Angel looks pretty tired. It's hard work watching over 2 humans and 2 cats! Plus keeping squirrels away.
And I don't help any by throwing corn out there for them!
Have a good weekend and be careful if you're out in this cold weather.

What a sweet & thoughtful gift from your friend - how blessed you all are.
ReplyDeleteAngel looks so cute!
Have a lovely weekend

Hi Terry, Thanks for visiting my Blog from the GYB party. I'm impressed that you have 3 blogs, how do you keep up with all of them? Not sure which one I should follow so I started here.
ReplyDeleteIt's been really cold here in Utah too. And the roads have been terribly icy - bad for driving. =(
ReplyDeleteGreat wrist warmers! I don't blame you at all for throwing out food for the outdoor critters. =)

I'm visiting from the Grow Your Blog party. I love your pets! Your dog looks like my Susie and your fluffy calico looks just like my Annabelle. How nice to be able to let the cats quilt with you.
